Networking Specialist

We are looking for dependable and motivated people who are not afraid of the phone to aid in networking efforts for our recruiting teams.

Applicants must possess a sense of fearlessness and comfort in speaking with contacts as your role will be based around outbound calls (cold and warm). Performance is gauged on appointment setting. You must have professional phone etiquette and persistence.   

This part time role offers a flexible schedule within a maximum of 20 hours over a 4 day work week. 

Supporting our Technical Recruiters, you will be responsible for various types of introductory phone work. We are a tier one vendor for some of the world\'s largest financial services firms, so due to the frequency of senior-level interactions and exposure to confidential data, the applicant must have thick skin and a well-defined sense of tact.

Responsibilities include making outbound calls using a general script to gather information, qualify and assign the lead appropriately as well as maintain call logs and reports detailing calls and appointments made.

Candidate Requirements:

Background:

• Bachelors degree or related experience.
• Cold calling experience is required, as well as a credible and persistent telephone personality.
• Ability to handle heavy phone work and provide top-notch service.
• Excellent understanding and experience with computer applications, specifically Microsoft products including Word, Excel and Outlook 

Soft Skills

• Persuasive, confident and clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Articulate, positive attitude and presentable demeanor with an ability to maintain composure in the face of rejection
• Self-starter with an ability to work independently, and  prioritize
• Sense of humor is mandatory as is willingness to work cooperatively for a quirky team with a continuously evolving set of priorities.
