Technical Recruiter; Financial Services

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Recruiter with 1-5 years of technical recruiting on full time positions and a serious will to succeed.    

You will responsible for identifying, attracting, screening, presenting, coordinating and placing candidates from a pool of talented professionals who are actively and passively open to opportunities and with whom you regularly interact.   Due to the frequency of senior-level interactions and exposure to confidential data, you must have thick skin and a well-defined sense of tact.

As a tier one vendor for the world's most competitive financial firms, you will be trained on our clients and be effective in coaching candidates by identifying and satisfying their needs and wants.  You will develop personal and professional relationships with candidates, becoming a trusted consultant and confidant in their career decision – rather than simply an administrator and coordinator.

Based off Wall Street, Andiamo Partners specializes in Technology Staffing/Consulting on behalf of the world’s most well-known securities firms.  Andiamo Partners is a tier one vendor for companies such as Morgan Stanley,  Goldman Sachs, top hedge funds, and other financial institutions.

In our model, we hire the brightest and train them to succeed at the highest level in the industry, with an exceptional (paid) training program that includes industry, technology, and recruiting strategy.

By understanding financial markets, our relevant training provides an opportunity to recognize exactly what key financial institutions do, how they have made money in the past, and how they are impacted right now.

Knowledge is power and our technical recruiters are skilled in conversation instead of canned speeches.  Evaluating talent and building relationships predominantly happens over the phone. Usually referred to as cold calling, it is networking; and it’s how business gets done.  

We empower team members with the knowledge and understanding of the Andiamo Recruiting Process and our philosophies through training and evaluation. The efficiency of each process demands that as you gain experience, you will be capable and accountable for executing each step of the process consistently. When everyone understands the effects of not following the process as defined, the need for direct supervision diminishes.

Work execution is based on a majority consensus within the team.  You must possess the self direction to know how and when it should be performed.

Required Skills:    

Background:

  • Bachelors degree or related experience
  • 1-5 years of Technical Recruiting on full time positions
  • Networking: cold calling, establishing contacts and developing long-term relationships
  • Internet and computer application experience, specifically Microsoft products specifically Word and Outlook  
  • Solid experience speaking and meeting with Senior Level IT Professionals.


Rather than focusing solely on an individual's experience, we place tremendous importance on interpersonal skills.

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to work independently with intensity and consistency of focus
  • Extraordinary organization and time management skills.  The more activity that can be generated and organized effectively, the higher the potential for success.  There will never be enough time in a recruiter’s day to complete their list of priorities. 
  • Articulate, positive attitude and presentable demeanor
  • Ability to maintain composure during negotiation and potentially rejection
  • Self-starter with an ability to prioritize and juggle workload
  • Sense of humor is mandatory
